Made a reservation with Avis on-line and paid up front. The reservation was modified for drop off at different airport in same city.

The modified reservation was less than the original reservation, showing a credit on the reservation confirmation, yet Avis refuses to refund my credit card.

I have made several contacts via e mail, phone and postal service. I also contacted my credit card company to establish a dispute over the refund owed. Even with a paper contract in hand, showing the lower price in the modified contract, Avis refuses to refund the money.

The time wasted over this issue is ridiculous.

I will never rent from Avis again.

I'm sure you realized it was refunded 5-7 days after your rental was completed.
