I am a preferred member with Avis and they treat you like ***. While traveling for business, I was forced to switch flights to a location where a rental car was no longer necessary.

The rental I initially reserved was $178. After having to cancel it because of the situation, they charged me $50 for cancelling and $150 for some non-refundable charges. I literally cancelled it 5 hours after I made the reservation because of flight changes. Just curious how this affects the company in any way that they believe they can charge me more money for cancelling than the rental was even worth.

DO NOT USE AVIS! Business plans change a lot and they should understand that.

I want my money back!!
